Spark and Lead Combo's

hi guys and gals,

I've got a 1.4SR and I was wondering what spark plug and HT lead combo would be best to get, as I need new of both? my HT leads are sorta shredded and the spark plugs...:o are bad!

what have you got on yours?

p.s also could you give me an idea of the prices?

Bosch or NGK plugs ?1.99 each
people have different opinions on them both, last service i put Bosch in and this I put NGK in, and there hasn't really been any noticable difference

Mafco leads, about ?22

don't bother with all these ?170 leads advertised in max power etc its bull

I've found this combo works well, no problems starting on the harshest mornings, and runs fine

edit if youre running a mad, on the edge 'race spec' engine then I would revise this statement, for 99% i.e. everyone else just use the standard stuff and change it regularly

i wish...lol. well I have got a K&N...:wink:

ok thanks mate...any ideas where I can get those mafco leads and the NGK plugs? local motor factors?
