I wanna stick a GTE (i think) style wrap around spoiler on ma nova. I was just wondering if it would be easier to buy the spoiler and stick it on, or to buy a whole boot door and just stick that on. What do you guys reckon?

Hope I dont sound too stupid!

When i said "stick it on" i meant put it on in whatever way i can. Whether that is drilling holes and bolting it, super glue, bostik, mastik or blu tak. Whatever works!

the original way vauxhall put em on wos 4 bolts thru the top, just use the old bolts on the spoiler n drill holes in the boot.then u need sum strong glue like epoxy or summet to stick the sides down.

my gte was the spongy material

also i stuck mine down with double sided tape as well as the bolts
i also bonded screwed and filled an sri tip spoiler on top of the gte spoiler

Flame red boot, on a blue nova...almost worth considering to save myself the effort of fitting the spoiler. but then i would have to paint the boot... :? why cant life be simple! anyone got a blue GTE boot?

can anyone estimate how much it would cost to spray a boot? prices for doing it myself, and for getting a sprayshop to do it.

cheers!

Its whatever colour blue a 1.2 Merit comes in, but more faded :D
I could probly / maybe use the compressor at my work to do it, but i would need to buy a decent spray gun.

I could probably get a guy from work to do it, but he'll be a prick and try to rip me off. What would be a good price?

I'm pretty handy wiv cans though, resprayed my whole motobike fairing, and that came out as good as anyone could have done it (in my opinion  )

tbh if u can do it with can then have ago least if u cock it up u can rub it down and try again
halfords do spray paint cans at 3 for the price of 2

just spray it some where warm

A gsi spoiler would look better and there would be less work in fitting it.
