"anonamous call baring is in operation"
"hi ....... and the kids arnt avalible right now.........."
"i cant come to the phone if you'd like to................."

some ppl even think they have a sense of humour.....
(to the tune of lou bega mumbo no:5)
"please dont hang up the phone/there is nobody at home"
"leave a little message at the tone"
"leave a little message at the tone" X5

one guy did do some dodgy jamacian accent on his answer phone with lots of refs to "ya man" an "winston"

anyone got anything that realy pisses them off at work?

my answer message used to simply say "I'm not in..." *beep*

but now my other half has recorded over it and it is now well spoken and polite informing callers that we are not home and that they should leave a message for us.
