Painting Alloys?

Hi,

Has anyone ever painted their alloys? Mine are badly scratched and someone's had a pretty bad whack on the front drivers side 1 (probably the same whack that dented the wind and bust the bumper!) so they don't look too good at the mo. Theyre also dual bolt pattern so its got extra holes that I want filled, so painting them afterwards is really the only option.

Anyone got any experiences, ideas.. I want them in white. What about plastic coating - anybody know where I could get this done - preferably not a million miles away from North Wales?

look in back of autotrader. loads of re-furbers. lap-tap in brum do everything; including my choice; black chrome. oh yes jules, you can have ur anthrashite. im gonna 16" softstars in black chrome. i think.

Ideally I don't wanna have to Leave Wales to do it coz I don't have enough time! I'm looking at doing it myself coz I can just spray a coat, drive around till its sunny next, spray another coat etc etc... :lol:

Probably a very bad way of doing it I know!

By the way theyre AllTech Flash alloys, quite nice really.

Chrome - be it black, silver, pink, green or whatever colour doesn't look very good imo, I just think it's a passing fad that'll die out like tiger stripes and 3 spoke rims - still each to their own!!
(I think jet black rims would look better then black chrome ones - timeless!!!)

i cant see the point of chrome id only curb the f**kers, plus they look crap. Id rather have black alloys anyday.

didn't mean it to sound so harsh; i wanted to say you can have your anthra - s - h - i - t - e. another cock up by me because of the swear-limiter. youre black rims are cool. a good upgrade or up-to date version wud be that but shinier. otherwise im just copying..? so i have to be different. wanted 16" softstars for ages.
