hi all i am in need of some help on my conversion. basically the o/s engine mount bracket that bolts on the block of the engine and then to the mount on the chassis does not fit. i took the bracket offthe gte block and went to put it on the 2.0l block and the holes are in different places. but i was told u could use the nova mount. does this mean that i have to make a mount to fit from the block to the chassis or is there another way. any help would be greately appreciated.

you need to use the astra mount............ if you are on about the front drivers side mount? have you lowered the engine mount on the chassis leg as well?

what astra mount mate? off which astra. i was thinking of leaving the mount on the body where it is and just making an entirely new mount.

do you have to use an astra mount, coz the engine im getting is out of a calibra.

Will that mount be fine or not?

no.. astra mk2 mount (or maybe cav mk2 mount) are the only ones that fit
