View Full Version : my fuel guage has a mind of its own

it goes up and down constantly, when you have the foot on excelerator the needle goes down and when you let goes it goes back up anyone had this problem how do you solve it?

any ideas?

Have you changed the clocks b4? (gte/sr ect)

yeah i changed it to a sr clocks! would this make a difference

they will always change when your driving due to the fact that its moving around in the tank.

hi, this might not be right but im sure that a ballast resistor is used to stop the needle from moving all over the place as u drive over bumps etc. if its doing it wen u drive i wud check ur tank sender unit for faults or maybe the resistor.
