I'm a lucky chap! There's hardly any rust anywhere, just the odd bit of surface rust here and there.
Karl will tell you how clean it is because he spent a weekend underneath it in April

 Very true keith, but for some reason its so appealling. I promised i would never do mine or another one again but cant help taking it apart.
Do prefer doing other peoples cars though because you just get on with it, you dont worry about every little thing.
p.s. it is one of the lesser spotted rust free novas

When i have money, rebuilding can be appealing. But at the moment i'm back on crap wages, and i'm struggleing to buy the last few bits to finish my car.
But in saying that, i most likely will rebuild it in around 2 years time. I still have plans for a valver when insurance allow's!
Adam, what's the plans for your car styling and engine wise?

Well, as for the engine its going to have a full bottom end re-build with a rebore, re-ground crank + bearings, ARP bolts ect with a B+ head and a kent cam oh and twin 40's  There will be other things but you will have to wait until its finnish to see
The bodystlying will be "smooth" meaning black gsi bumpers, smoothed doors and wings with a re-spay in flame red. im going with 2 types of wheel, one in black and one in silver alloy. 60/80 drop as well.
It wont take too long but this time of year is very difficult because of the weather and christmas. Will start properly in January.
The problem is i want another one now :o I want a white mk1, i would add a 2ltr 16v, strip it and drop it on 14's. Maria (my better half) did not find this funny

I have no idea lol
Depends on money and time. I "hope" to have the engine done by end of April but the body work will take a little longer. Lets say July.
