Here are the instructions that I received with the ?100 kit I brought from PVD.

4 white boxes with red crosses in them?
That's all I'm seeing?

this method seems to be a little bit of a bodgery. i don't see this being the best method. What is the method used for the ?399 disk conversion that PVD do?

cant see the point in cutting and bending the beam tbh, if you take the washers off the bolts they go in fine. i never had trouble with mine
Really seems like a lot of hassle, and it's ?100 plus the brakes, you can pick up a rear disc beam with brakes, ready to go for ?150 :!:

well, im a mug. But its nearly finished now. The beam will be back on the car tomorrow.
The costs were:
?100 PVD conversion kit
?30 Astra rear beam with everything on it
?36 New Astra Handbrake cable from Vauxhall
?32 New discs
?8 New pads
?14 New Astra wheel bearings
So all in it cost ?220. But at least i've got peace of mind that i've done the job properly with all new bits (bar calipers of course)
