Ive noticed that since i put watter into the heater water pump (no idea of its name) the car no longer blows in how air, before it was empty and there was hot air getting into the car, now theres not.

Ive been told its possible theres a ait lock/block in the system but if this is the case how would i know and how do you fix this? Its becoming inportant to fix as the weaters unforgiving and my feet get cold easily...

Thansk guys hope you can help.

Probably is an airlock - what car do you have?

A Nova 1.2 - year 1991.

Is an air lock easy to fix m8? Been hunting for info on it all night last night and the book for the car wasnt helpful.

Thanks man

Find the temp gauge sensor on the inlet manifold and unscrew it, this should allow the blocked air to come out if you fill up the header tank, when water starts coming out of tyhis hole then out the sensor back in and tighten it up.

I did this on my old 1.6 (Twin carbed) engine and it worked fine, I've never had a 1.2 so I'm not 100% sure of where their temp sensors are but I would imagine they are around the same area?
