1.4sr Performance??

wot are the speccs of a standard 1.4sr

like bhp, 1/4 mile run, 0-60 top speed

haynes says as standard the 1.4 -

14nv engine was 72bhp
c14nz engine was 60
c14se engine was 82bhp

carbbed ones were the nv's so 72bhp
82 was the multipoint injection (sri)

Top speed not reliable but about 110 less a bit??? although you'll have a job getting anyone to be honest about their nova coz the clocks are so unreliable! I've had mine up to 118 according to my clock and still had pedal space... probably about 90! :lol:

0-60 no details in haynes but I'd say between 9-12 secs? (pretty big)

Someone else will know exactly what its capable of.

my 1.4 on weber 32/34 is rapid in lower gears (1-3) - never had it on a track though

i had my 1.4sr reving at 6600rpm on the flat in 5th 8)
