mk2 dash

i fitted a mk 2 dash in my mk1 at da weekend and my heater doesnt work as well as it did in damk1 dash ne1 cum across dis problem b4

and wen i say not as good i mean doesnt blow out as powerful as it did :evil:

did you connect all th educts and did you get the mark2 control cables for th etemperture and the direction controller all i can think of.i never connected mine my cables are repositioned under th dash so my nobs dont do anything gonna get them smoothed over or put guages in the holes

Did you cut off the fan motor connector and rewire it? It's the same plastic body but all the wires are back to front. Do you still have 3 speed fan?

no but got plug out of the mk2 so i will change it.

No idea about heater, but how did the transplant go? I'm planning to do mine over Christmas. Did u need to get a new heater? My Mk1 heater, the controls pull cables, like accelerator cable but the Mk2 dash had wires coming out from the controls??? Is the wiring simple to do?
