The ECU will be coming out very shortly as i have a set of 45's to go on. I didn't bother sticking it in the drivers footwell cos there is no point.

would it not have been easier to fit the 45s when you fitted the engine...

Yes ste i have the 45's now.

The car is lowered 60mm as the front and 50 at the rear but i haven't had the chance to put on the 60mm rear springs.

Here are the buckets i have bought which will be going in this weekend:

The interior is now fully stripped to just the dash, no carpets, doorcards etc... and i shall be respraying inside the shell this weekend too. Then perspex windows and a cage after crimbo if i can afford it

More pics to come this weekend :)

Just a tip...

If they are the Cobra subframes with the seats, you will need to drill two holes either side in the rear to bolt them down. If you are stripping and painting the inside of the car then i wuld weld a 1-2" wide strip of metal across the floor to drill through as the metal is very weak there and when i done mine first off, the holes elongated from movement on the seat.

Can weld plate from above or below, just easier inside. also use NYLOCK nuts.

Thanks for the tip Ben, the subframes in the pic came with the seats and are for a Mini. I think i will just bolt the seats straight on to the nova frames if i can but will see what i can do tomorrow when i start :)

Yes this is possible too as have done it on another set i had...

Just take the two strips off the top of the Cobra subframes wich actually bolt to the seat the sit these on top of the nova ones and either weld them down or drill and bolt them.

Very easy.
