I have a 1.3sr and am gettin a 32/34 carb for it 4 christmas, thank you mother. and was wonderin if a GTE/GSI cam would give betta performance than the standard 1?
or does the 1.4sr give higher lift???

The 1.4 does give higher lift, but not necessarily longer duration (duration is v.important), so for performance it might not be better than the 1600. I would concider using the 1400 cam as it is designed for a twin choke carb, but thats all I can think of in its favour.

Does anyone know the durations of the two shafts in question? I'm sure that Cambridge would know or be able to find out.
