17 Tomorrow!!!!

Well I've had my car since June 2002, thanks Dad. :D

Spent nearly ?5,000 on it, nearly got it to what i want it to be like...

And finally at last I'm 17 tomorrow.

Got my first of eleven lessons in one and a half weeks tomorrow morning. Two hour one.

Then at 1pm, I've got my theory test.

Even better news is, that I just got my insurance quote inc. me as a provisional driver, all mods declared including engine mods, valued at ?5,000..... ?903.50 on fully comp for a year!!!!!!!!!!!

Roll on tomorrow. lol :lol:

Well had my first lesson today, 2 hours went on road and was driving for about half an hour or so, got told that im doing really well.

And been for my theory this after noon,

35 out of 35. And 44 out of 75 on hazard perception.

So as soon as my old man and his credit card get back im booking my practical. :D

How can you get quoted under a grand at 17? and on an SR. :x

You bugger. I was gettin quotes when I was coming up 17 for about ?2k on a scabby old 1.3L MK1 VW Jetta...how the heellll does that work.

My mate is 18, and was paying ?1.8k for a 1200cc Nova, with no mods declared. Then again, i was gonna pay nearly 3 grand to insure a 1.9 205 GTi (don't hate me, i have seen the light now...French cars are c**p and Vauxhalls rule i know) as my first car when I was 17! :lol:
