my cd player rattles

like the topic says rattles on the bumps causing cd to skip what do you do to stop it?

my novas a mk2 it seems to sit loose what can i do to make it a tight fit?

sounds like a stereo has been robbed out of the car previously, possibly. damaged the dash when ragging unit out now slightly de-shaped. what u need to do is close the din-hole up a bit, or en-large the cage. maybe use two cages? have u bent the tabs on the cage out around the slot?
try as an experiment to build up electrical tape around the din-hole then push cage and unit in see if it fits tighter. use electrical tape because its thickish, stretchy and can peal off without damage after.

Yeah as above, when i removed mine the silly lady before had one with the pins, so i ripped the face off with a hammer, and then used a screw driver for the pins, anyway to cut a long story short change the cage and just make sure its a tight fit
