i totally agree with all your views but as my nova has been totally fucked by rallying with the wessex motor club (www.wessexmotorclub.co.uk), and clutch completely gone, ive sold it and as a quick replacement got a festa, so do any of u no anywhere where i can get any speaker door pods from (for cars other than novas!)? And yes i know festas are shite!

Hehe, I've always said Novas make crap rally cars! (And now I' gonna rally mine - well, if you're gonna wreck it might as well do it in style right? )
Is it possible to fit speakers into the doors without pods? I have a couple of 4" 1s that I wanna put in the dorrs for when I'm not rallying!

Yes its possible, depends on the size of the speaker ur fitting, a 4inch speaker wil be no problem, itl fit just in the bottom corner nearest the door hinge area, i did it to my old nova and worked fine, just had to remove pocket bit then cut a whole big enug in the panel of door for speaker (easy to do with basic tools) Then just screw the speaker in.
The hole ion the metal frame of the door in this corner is just about right size for small speakers and it doesnt affect the window inside the door either.
Go to http://geocities.com/villa_de_sanchez/aboutme.htm and look at bottom of page, its got my speakers i udes to have on there..

Thanks, I'll see what I can do!
All depends on getting the car running - at the moment I'm looking at selling it and buying another Mazda 121 (decent car! :P )
can't wait to have System Of a Down back at work in my car!

You can get 5 1/4" in the doors. Well i did anyway. But if not, i have a set of door pods for sale that will take 6 1/2" components without cutting the door atall.
If your interested let me know. They are carpeted in a dark grey.

JUST RIP SOME DOOR PODS OFF A CAVALIER OR SOMETHING LIKE THAT. A LITTLE BIT OF CUTING AND SCREWING AND HEY PRESTO DOOR PODS
NOW WAS THAT SO HARD?
HEHE TRY IT. IT REALLY WORKS
How much for the door pods which'll take the 6.5" comps then ----

I have these on my doors for my 6x9's.
Made with a simple wooden frame and blended in with a small amount of fibreglass and filler.

Very Nice Moffatt, did you do them all yourself? I wouldn't midn something like that on mine - although a lot smaller as I only want 4inch speakers!
What alloys are those btw? They look like mine but mine won't fit under even with 165/60R14 tyres.
