Where is the thermostat on the OHC engines located?

Cos I can't find it :oops: and I need to replace it

On the cambelt end of the engine just under the camshaft bit at the top. You have to take off the top radiator hose + then undo the bolts on the housing for it. Easy to get to on a mk1 by taking off the cambelt cover, but on the mk11 they made it harder by making you take the cambelt off to get to it!
