ive got a standard alarm/immob that came with the car.
today it constantly goes off, while its going off i can turn the ignition on and start it.
The remote still activates the c/l fine but will not turn the siren off so for the time being ive had to disconnect it from the battery and take the reserve battery out of the alarm system.
Does anyone know what the problem maybe? im not expert with alarms but theres 3 little black boxes on the passenger side dash shelf in the footwell, one of the boxes has 2 wires coming out but not connected to anything. Ones yellow and ones and green.
Had a look under the bonnet and the little black box there seems ok but i dont really know what im looking for to be causing the problem.
Any help/suggestions will be muchly appreciated.
