Pop ups - how do i get rid? It's the one's that have been installed on the computer itself (advertising one's). Removed the programmes with the add/remove program function, but the fuckers are still coming up.

i run a program called spybot it removes all adware etc

you could use Adaware, that's pretty good.

Install the Google toolbar, not only is it a qucik way to seracj for stuff on the web, but it also has a popup blocker which is easily trunoff and onable.
Go to google homepage and search for 'google toolbar'

I had this problem i installed some third party peice of crap and it seemed to make it worse, just re-install it it only takes a couple of hours

i get no pop ups, i bet half of you with pre built pcs from the likes of pc world have so much shit loading up when u start up that you dont know abt! my shit pc still loads in abt 60 seconds with p2 300mhz 96mb ram and XP pro running, lol
