Offset question (styling q or not?)

Im interested in a set of wheels which have a 40 offset.
The width of the wheel is a 205
will i need to space out the wheel, to stop it rubbing on the inside? if so, will it catch on the arch?

are you mad, i dont think us 5 doors have such problems with wheels rubbing, up to a certain size i would have thought. Hmmmm might be wron though

yeah they are wider!
What size are you running Phil?
What mods did you have to do?

errrmmm mine are 195 and dropped 60mm. No mods needed for mine dunno what offset they are though :lol: but i do have mor than a 10mm extra room for 205s to go under with out scrubbing. You have more chance of them fitting on yours than out to a 3 door
