Electric windows...

My electric windows, can't figure out why they dont work, the motors move etc, bu the arm where its attatched to the window doesn't move with the motor. I have only put in 3 holes, should there be a fourth to hold the arm to the motor. The motor spins but it doesnt seem to want to move the window. Its the same on both sides, have i forgot to get a prt when i got the windows or something?

sounds like the cogs arent engaging the motor - weird how its on both sides.

what happens when you take the motors out of the car (i.e they are not connected to the windows) does the arm move?

sorted now, one was out of the window runner.

The other was fucked, been welded backl into place.
