i have recently purchased some 195/40/17 pirelli p zero tires for my nova and they are great they are really quiet and pull the side walls away from the archs to avoid the rubbing associated with 5's up with 60 mm drop. they are the way forward but only pirelli make them they are only ?100 each there great.

arn't your wheels more prone to damage now... and anyway you should never have 5 peeps in ur car

why would my wheels be more prone to damage. some of us can park without beating the car into curbs. car looks low with five people in but never go far with that many people in becasue it annoys me after more than five minutes

imo them tyres suk ass my m8 had them and after a while he hated them! wheels are 10time more likely to get curbed etc as there is no rim protection!

why do you need them any way? my old gte with 17" dares on was fine on 205/45/17 in fact when i switched to speedlines they rubbed more than the 17s ever did

i need them because i turned a left had corner the other day sand the wheel kinda grabbed hold of the wing and pu a badly style right angle crease in it smashed all the side skirt up where it was blended in and where the tops of the wings are blended into pillars it cracked all that as well. this is why i think these tires are better as they are thinner. the suspension was fine but it was brand new and started dropping and dropped little to far

I would check your insurance, 99% of polocies only cover driver and three passengers- 4 total. So if have five in your insurance would be void.

Never said they dont, just that you should check if your insured, i know a couple of people have been done by the police at cruises for the same thing.

The police say can i see your documents then proceed to show this point and fine you.

Or if it's a Nova Cab then you could just hang out of the gap where the roof was - just try not to get spotted by the police doing it eh Ste / Ian?
