Dunno what's 'better' but I've had the Toad for a few years and it's not once false alarmed on me so I've nothing bad to say about the Toad.

Plus it has internal sensors and immobilizer (Combined Cat 1).

I have ai606 toad alarm and am very happy with it. I heard a few bad things about clifford alarms from people who fit them.
