FAO 2ltr 8v know-how ppl!

Ive got a 2ltr 8v Cav SRI engine and am fitting it very soon. Its running on original injection of the Cav SRi, anyone got any tips what so ever to make sure the swop goes fine,
I dont want no one saying 'oh go for the LET, or, u dont wanna be doin that' Coz i am and ive chosen it.

have you not already done the engine swap?? I got the impression from the post about getting pulled by the police that you had a 2.0 8v engine in already or am I just completely mis-reading things cos I am tired!!!! lol

Well, thats teo of us about to embark on an 8V!! Why do ppl not use them, wot are the pros/cons on8/16Valve?

generally people dont use the 8v because the work is the same for a 16v so they use that instead and gain the extra 26bhp straight up. however if your looking for a 2litre and low insurance then you can use the 8v as there is quite a difference in insurance groups for them
