Hi,
I have a 1400 Flair with the Pierburg carb, this has an autochoke on it which has two water pipes and is adjustable.....
Which way do the pipes have to be and how do I adjust it???????????
I think that I am overfuelling at the mo as I get about 28 mpg.
An air leak from the join to manifold can also cause this but I am sure I sealed that with gasket sealer and the rubber thing that goes on it.
It also idles at 1000rpm cold and 1500rpm hot and runs like a dog under 2000rpm when under strain. And has a K&N pancake filter.
