If fitting Astra 16v front brakes to a 1.2 Nova is it adviseable to upgrade the servo to a GTE one?
Thank you.

Ive been running GSI brakes with my 1.2 servo and it dosent get the best out of the brakes so if your going to 16v brakes i would defo upgrade to the gsi servo.

I think the servo on the 1.2 is the same as the 1.4's. Only the 1.6's had a different servo? Either way, I never uprated my servo when I stuck 2.0 discs on my car.
However, I have recently just bought a GSi Brake cylinder and servo, mainly because my old one was corroded and the replacement one was cheap.

it aint necisarry to change to a bigger servo. i never have and dont see the point tbh. perhaps we have too many girls on here ?? a servo just makes it easier to push the pedal it wont stop any quicker.
this is true but it is better to have the bigger servo!
they can be found on sri/gte/gsi/TD
