Vinyl removal

This ahs probably been asked a 1000 times but here goes.

What is the simplest and easiest way to remova the vinyl from the sides, doors ans hatch of a Nova SR? The use of a hair drier/heat gun is taking an eternity and I may loose my sanity before it is complete!!!!!!!!!

Not really working how I might have hoped, can't find the magic temperature. As it doesn't matter if I damage the paint are there any chemicals I can use to desolve the nasty stuff. I have tried Nitromorse which just made it squidgy (technical term). Can any one help.
