windows media problem

downloaded afew movies today, 2 work fine, the other plays with sound but no picture, anyone know the problem?

You'll need the correct Codec.

Theres about 5 main ones. Div/X is most common.

If some worked fine, make sure you got xVid its a bit different...

tried downloading divx before but dont know if i installed it properly, do you install it to your windows media folder or just to c:/?

install divx to c:/

makes no difference where you install it!!

ac3 codec, just get the nimo codec pack, should sort out all your problems

Nimo codec pack will probably solve it like so1o said, if not then get DivX player (Get DivX anyway as the picture quailty seems better than WMP anyway).
