Mk2 dash transplant

Hi. I'm fitting a Mk2 dash into my Mk1 and wondering, will the Mk2 instrament pannel, with 6 dials work in my car. My instrament pannal at the moment has only 3 dials. Will the plug even fit into the new pannel? Will all 6 dials work. Any one done this before?

u will need to rewire the plug so make sure u get the plug for the clocks outta the mk2

the rev counter might need wired to the coil or might already be there depending on your loom (green wire)

oil pressure wont work unless u get the sender from the gsi the dash came from (or a gte or old mk1 sr)

rest will be fine :)

just remember to route the speedo cable round that metal frame properly - u dont want it kinking

Do I just connct the wires the ones of the same colour? I'll probs live without oil presure, for now anyway. Thanx
