If it is only 3500 miles, then it's like getting a brand new car. But at the same time if it has been instorage for a long time, then alot of things could have perished on it aswell, so I dont think it would be worth ?1750. would make a good base though for a project if the shell is spotless.

looks like a bit of a bargain although ?1700 for a shell is a bit pricey!

As most of you say, who is going to want a very mint mk2 1liter? only someone wishing to modify it and ?1750 is a hell of a lot for just a shell....
