Just a quick pic of how my Nova is at the minute, the 2L has come back out so i can seem weld the bay and sort out the rust. I've got a new front panel to go plus a few more patches to weld in and then i can spray it :)

....or not as the case maybe. i guess theres no going back now.
You could have taken the engine out threw the top or the bottom, you didn't have to take the whole front off! 8)
The GTE that I scrapped had about the same needing done to it, wish to feck I had kept it and had the guts to do it

Looks good m8. Keep it up.
There loads of fresh unpainted metal there. Must have been really rusty, a bit like my nova (but yours has less rust). Good luck putting front back on and engine in? Whats going in there?

Yep the new front panel is finally on, i've just been grinding down the welds a bit this evening and then zinc primered the bay. There's alot of bare metal along the seems as i had to strip them completly to weld them up. A 2L is going in there, hopefully the car will be back on the road on the weekend :) :)

make sure you seal up the inside of the chassis legs with waxoil or similar or they'll rust from the inside out
is it a pain in the ass getting the front panel dead straight???
ive got this job coming up and aint looking forward to it much
Looking Good mate. Good luck. Keep us posted with pics.
