jools when you said you got busy with the fibre glass is this hard cuz ive heard that that stuff is a bugger to get right eg measuring the resin or can you jus buy fibre glass filler in the tub like normal filler ? jools have you got any pictures of the grill while you were doing it stage by stage perhaps

i think JULES used fibreglass filler (p40) (the one in the tin). it'd be easier than using fibreglass matting.

Anyway, yes, like Dave said I used the P40 stuff in a tin and I made sure it went in-between the slats not just across the top to try and stop it cracking (Which it never did so it must of worked).
As for the pics, no I don't have any, I done the mod so long ago that Digi cameras at the time cost the price of a small 3 bed semi-detached house!!
