what have you done to your tailgate ste?
i want one with no rear wiper or washer and the old style lock,but with the normal number plate recess. can you get them or did you flush yours?

my 1.2 merit hasnt got a wiper or washer now anyway. looks like it was once taken out and the hole was fillered and re-sprayed looks good though! and also the washer jet has to come off to put on a sr spoiler!

mine is a swing and has a washer and wiper. i keep looking for a early tailgate(no handle) with out a wash and wipe but i've never seen one.

My old 1.2 spin was the same, looked well sweet, My fiesta is like that to, but the fiesta had to be welded, we dont have factory smooth boots line nova's...

i went to scrappy and got a tailgate from a 1.2 with no washer or wiper. then the body shop used my original tailgate anyway, thats was ?15 well spent!

make sure you use a non wiped glass

also the washer jet has to come off to put on a sr spoiler!

you mean a mk1 style sr/gte spoiler... if so thats just cobblers mate. The washer jet is in the same place on all the models > at the top of the rear window in the middle and the spoiler has a cut out for it to fit into.

well perhaps my boot spoiler isnt an sr spoiler then im not sure. but anyway it hasnt got the washer jet on anyway.

I think the cars that come with spoliers have different smaller washer jets.

ive had an sr spolier fitted to my 1.2 merit and the missus has had 2 fitted to her old nova coz one was riped off - both went on no problems.

me and my mate fitted one to his 1 litre and we had to cut the washer jet off as it pushed up the spoiler :o It was A reg though so maybe they changed them :?:

my mate bought a new projet yestardaay a 1 litre jazz rust bucket but that doesent have a rear wiper or washer :D

when we fitted an sr spoiler to my 1.2 merit the spoiler caught on the washer jet.
