Cheers Chris for coming up and taking some piccies and for putting them up.

Front suspension is being stripped off at weekend for some new coilovers and then going to start on sorting the oil leaks coming form the engine and getting the turbo sorted. Also got copper core radiator that needs fitting then its time to save up for the cage and the seats. :(

Want the car back on the road as I miss using it.

What cage and seats are you getting?

Lee H

Getting a full rollcage with doorbars from Fabricage who used to supply Courtenay. As for seats I am getting The Corbeau Revolutions like Chris T has got in his car.

284mm discs, fit behind the Allesio's but the calipers nearly touch the back of the spokes but not quite.

It is pretty fast but not enough yet, engine has been in for 6 months and car used everyday for work for the last 4 of them so think i've sorted some reliabiltiy out now

every time I see a turbo nova, I get a big grin on my face. Driving breeny's when he just got it was amazing, the power in the car was incredible, a little scary on the first corner, but after that it was just pure adrenaline.

I would love to have a nova turbo as a second car, they seem too unreliable as a daily driver.

yea ive bin thinkin about get one april'ish time for a while, either that or a NA valver, turbo sounds way more appealin though despite the reliability scares!!!

Nah i'm no DJ unfortunately

Doubt it will be having a respray during this period off the road, can't afford as seats and cage are ????'s and I still want to use the car everyday so a respray would just get wrecked when leaving it in public car parks every day of the year.

Running about in a bog standard, low mileage, mint condition Renault 5 Turbo which I was going to keep as an everyday car but won't be able to afford to keep it.
