Looks mint mate. really clean, I think white is probably one of the best colours for novas (I had a white GSi :) )

do you find that you have to wash it every other day though? I did with mine and I ended up getting so much grief off people at work for having an absolutely spotless car every day!! lol :lol:

by the time i get home from work its too funking dark and cold to wash it, so i can only really wash it on weekedns! :evil: :roll:

gets dirty so quick in winter aswell! bloody dirt and rain!

looking good mate. think other things you could do are

colour code the mirrors
get a gte back bumper
and maybe some side skirts

A GTE bumper looks like this with the extra grey splitter at the bottom

No you have just got a normal mk1 back bumper there mate, their not as deep

agreed, thats a standard bumper sprayed white (maybe even sr). gte has the nice fat skirt on the bottom.

maybe clear rear lights too?

hey dan did u have any problems whilst taking off the rubber strips off the side of the car? and with the anti-chip paint? i did start doing that on mine but when the paint come away with the rubber strip i stopped! DOH!

to do the rubber strips i just used a hair dryer and a kettle and just slowly peeled em, you just gotta get the glue hot enough it will come away easy enough.

as for the 'vinyl' i used paint stripper and a cloth and it comes off really easy! let me know if you need any more help mate!

cheers m8. i mean i got the strips off easily leaving a bit of glue on the car but that come off easily enough. but it was the one near the rear arch that was the pain. the paint peeled off with it! anyway ive stuck the strips back on and you would never know ive taken them off. hopefully my mate will buy the car off me before crimbo so i might just leave it now.

your car is looking really good! im after a GTE grill for my mk1 but cannot find one anywhere!

if it was taking paint off then you didnt heat it up enough mate,
i got my grill and bumpers of a mod'd SR from a scrappy, theres always people selling gte/sr kits
just have a look on all the for sale sections on novaload, migweb and roybacer ( :? )
