Ok i Have Stripped out the Back Seats and wish to plan for my false floor.
what i want to do in the boot and back seats is build the floor but i dont Fancy Drillign throught to the Fule Tank. Can any one say where it is is it ok to drill any where?
Cheers
i drilled 3 bits of wood going side ways to the floor near the boot pannel, then just behind the seats and into the little metal hooks were the seats clip into, then u dont have to go near the fuel tannk :)

the tank is under them!! thats why u gotta be carefull when welding in gsi spec seat mounts
For god's sake, It's only fuel and a spinning metal object.....what's the problem?
carnt you take your fuel tank out or lower it of its mounts, drill the holes and then reattach your fuel tank??? then you havent got the danger of drilling into it.
that involces removing exhaust/handbrake cable something i wouldnt bother with :)
just use lots of glue :D
Just carpet the back out!
You want to drill into your chassis to fix a false floor? :?
I've not drilled into my chassis and I've managed to fix a false floor into my car. It's completey secure (several members will vouch for this as I've done a few false floors for people) and is also completely removable.
