Cooling system flush

I want to flush the cooling system on my gte, to help my head gasket situation

how hard is it, ive read you have to remove the thermosat and to do that you gotta remove the cambelt, camshaft sproket and crankshaft sprocket :o is there no way of doing it without removing the thermosat :?:

how bad is it getting??? if u got more than a light slick in the tank then just stop driving it

Just looked there is just a light brown sort of oily look sitting on the water in the tank :(

DOH wen was the headgasket last changed??

your cars been more than round the clock hasnt it, might be worth taking a look at the bottem end this winter? do u use it over winter everyday etc??

yep its got 160k on it now :lol:

dunno when or if it has ever been changed before

i use it every day
