help my brakes keep stopping me!!!

the brakes on my car are fine(well,) but when i push them the calipers stay in contact with the disc's(front) i took one side of a caliper of and tried it again and it doesn't just stay in contact, as you push it the caliper moves more and more even if you take your foot off and then back on :cry: :cry:

funnily enough most nova drivers have the trouble that their brakes dont really do sh$t.
