How Do I Get My Live Back From The Battery To The Boot ???

aint had a proper look at it yet coz the car's garaged .. just wondering if theres a "hole" that everyone uses to feed the big fat live wire through ... and wheres the best place to earth my amp in the back of the car ??

next to the battery there is a convienient hole that goes in behind the dash. thread the wire in here and it'll come out by the parcel shelf under the dash on the drivers side. then tuck it under the plastic bits on the floor next to the seat/door and in to the boot through the rear seats. there is also an earth in the middle of the rear panel that i used when i had mine

i earthed mine off the boot floor
when ur runnin ur power cables id run em seperate from ur speaker cables this will help prevent distortion

And for Gods sake spend a few quid on a chunky inline fuse and mount it near the battery, for the sake of a few quid it could stop your car going up in smoke.

and make sure where it passes through the bulkhead you use a nice grommet to stop it rubbing on the metal

LISTEN TO WHAT THEY SAY,I KNOW A M8 WHO KNACKERED AN AMP BY NOT HAVIN A FUSE. HE THORT HED SAVE MONET BY JUST BUYING LOADSA WIRE, THEN 1 DAY ASKED IF I COULD FIT HIS NEW AMP FOR HIM CUZ HIS WENT UP IN A PUFF OF BLUE SMOKE.

MY ADVICE IS
1 GET A DECENT AMP AND REALLY DECENT AMP WIRING KIT!

2 IN LINE FUSE, AND IF POSSIBLE AN AMP LIKE THE ALPINE V12 SERIES CUZ THEY HAV BUILT IN FUSES (MOST NEW AMPS PROBERLY DO ASWEL BUT I AINT WANTED TO CHANGE SINCE I GOT MY V12'S SO DONT KNOW)

3 ALWAYS USE A GROMET IN THE BULKHEAD (AND YES THERE IS A CONVENIENT HOLE JUST BEHIND THE BATTERY, ITS WHAT I USE).

4 MAKE SURE UR BATTERY HAS LITTLE COVERS OVER THE TERMINALS, U NEVA KNOW WHAT WATER IS GUNA DO NEXT! JUST TRUST ME ON THIS 1.

5 IF POSSIBLE SEND LOTS OF MONEY 2 THIS ADDRESS 1********** HEHE JUST KIDDIN BOUT THE LAST ONE.
