wipers and dash. please help!!

I've just got a 2.0 nova. and the wipers are broke. only come on some times. is this the relay and how easy is it too fix. is a scrapy the best bet for a new one?

And the digi dash reads 0. which i know is the tranducer. but how do i know if its a 16v or 8v dash so i can get a new one.cheers

if the rev counter looks like a power graph then its an 8v if its a semicircle then its a 16v ;)

could be a loose switch for the wipers can't really imagine it being the relay, turn your wipers on full and hold it up then go along holding it in place if it's a loose connector chances are they'll come on at 1 point don't quote me on this though i think the wipers are the only thing that hasn't fcuked up on mine

as long as its an 8v transducer your fine

nowt to do with the engine really just different style fitted to different model

u can get the transducer either off an astra gte 8v or from a nova 1.2i (will be stamped AA)
