gte shocks

i dont wanna fork out ?200 + for a 40mm dropping kit so if i just bought 40mm springs n used some old gte shocks how much wud this be an improvement on standard 1.2 shocks? is it worth it?

would have thought you'd notice a difference from your all 1.2 suspension

fitting secondhand shock absorbers will not make much difference at all.
there is pretty much no difference between the shock absorbers on all of the novas. fitting lower, stiffer springs will make a lot of difference, as will fitting front & rear anti roll bars (forget the chat about rally boys not having them, cos rally cars need as much suspension travel as they can get).
