Digi Dash on Td

Some one around here was working on a digi dash for a TD. Any news ?

I had already made a post asking about digi dash on a td and someone gave me a contact and I had mailed this person. He told me he was working on it. The problem is I lost the e-mail address and now I don't know who it was !!!

if so i didnt know there was a 1.7td nova

there wasnt as standard - but several people have done the swap.

yes mine is a mk1 1.7td. The engine is the latest model imported from Japan (110 BHP ) as standard.

same as the new corsa 1.7td thats what i learnt how to drive in and it was pretty nippy.

SO how much did that engine cost then and the amount of work to get it done?

I live in Malta and the prices are much more expensive then in the UK. I got the engine for 525 punds. As for the work, fitting the engine is not a big deal but I had to use a smaller alternator (toyota 1.5 td) and also I have used a Mitsubischi interccooler which is much bigger then the isuzu one.

I won't reply anymore posts today as I just finished work and I'm off from the office but I see the posts tomorrow.

a digi dash for a nova engine has been done a few times, the man to speak to is called dom he's done some really good work with digi dashes and can just about program them to run with any engine by adjusting the pulses the box and engine produce meaning the dash reads correctly.

i also have a 1.7td nova at about 110bhp and i have a digidash in but as its a derv i am suffering the problems with the rev counter. up fot sale tho, nearest offer to ?1200 takes it.

as ive said speak to dom he has been working on something to fix the rev counter for different engines
