Three Piece strut brace kit, where does the third piece go?

I got an FK 3 piece strut brace set from PVD. I got the front and rear struts braced but i don't know where the shorter bar is meant to go. There were no insrtuctoins.

Goes between the two lower arm mounting points at the front (routes under the engine)

it is actually any good? i mean ?60 for 3 strut braces seems a bit ?50 goodmans cd player to me.
