to run broadband on a P2 233Mhz 32mb old skool ram and 4 gb hdd pc............. yes i know it will be so slow its funny but can it be done

ntl say min spec is 64mb ram but i dont believe them, this is just a little challenge ill be taking up in a few weeks, wot do u rekon

I've run BT ADSL on a machine with a slightly lower spec than that before now, it was a Pentium 200 MMX with 32mb ram. it was rubbish, but.......

if you are going to use that machine as a firewall or a gateway to the net for other pc's then use a program called Smoothwall, it is a linux based firewall and it will run perfectly well on that machine.
