Just got back.
Had a very good day - was very busy - about 70+ peeps driving. Bit of hanging around whilst we waited for our turn - got better as the day wore on.
Very good track - prolly the most twisty turny uppy downy track in the country  Very techinical, very narrow and the tyre walls are like next to the track in some places :!: Some of the slopes are nose bleed inducing
Just a tad slip in the morning  they had blow leaves off the part of the track that goes thru woodland - it was fecking lethal til after lunch.
Lot of top weaponary out - Pugs, Golfs, Radical, Porsche 944's (1 supercharged - sounded like a jet!) 911T etc, BMW M3's, Alpina, M5 Saloon racer, MGF trophy, Saxo stock 750 racer ( jeez that bloke knew how to drive - made us look a bit silly thru the corners)MK1 Escort, Fiat Uno T, Lotus Cortina, Westies Tigers Caterhams, Jag XJS racer, AC cobra,
Ford Capri's - (Cossy engine inside  )Astra GTE racers, Alfa Romeo 155, Mini, VX 220 ( top driver - we think an instructor) Toyota Starlet ( went like fcuk til his hose burst and smothered my windscreen in sticky wet shite) and lots more.
Several offs - the worst of which was the Alfa which was comprehensively wrecked - I think the roof wasnt bent but all the other panels were. We were told it was his wife's car - so guess whose not getting any nookey for the next year - oh dear :(
We'll draw a veil over MC's little trip into a cul-de-sac off 1 corner - i think he was taken by the wonderful scenery and decided to pull off for a bit to admire it
Only downer for me was when I discovered that my brand new slicks had been rubbing against my springs which had a worn a groove in the inside walls.
