Boot Spoiler

i currently have the GSi boot spoiler on my beast, but i want to take it off, is there any screws holding it onto the lid as i cant see any, and i dont want to take it off to be faced with holes in the lid!

im trying to go for the smooth look, de-locked, de-badged, de-side-repeaters, etc, the boot spoiler is just another item i dont need!

i think its held on with 4 screws. open the tailgate and you should see them

If it was fitted by vauxhall, it will be stuck in place AND have 4 bolts through the tailgate (you'll only see the nut tops), if it was fitted by someone else, they may have cut them off.

If it is a properly fitted one then the easiest way of removal is...

Undo the four bolts from behind
Lean on it with your arms from above
Wiggle it up and down gently
Then to remove push up from underneath until its off

Have tried loads of ways, dont use a screwdriver as you will ruin your tailgate.

nope, i can honestly say that i cant see any screws of which are holding it on!

would it be on with some really strong glue?

Look right under the tailgate and you will see the four screws. If it has been just stuck on push up.
