digi dash questions

ive bought a digi dash and was told that it came without a tranducer? i dont really know wot this does? can ne1 tell me? and if so where can i get it from? i was told u maybe able to use the gte one?? :lol:

Tranducer is the speedo sensor from the gearbox! without it tour speedo will read 0 When u say bout using the gte type im not 2 sure if you can use it coz the astra type is completeley electronic, either 2 or 3 wires, cant remember tbh

aparently they cost about ?70 too. so a scrappy and your pocket are your best bet.

if its an 8v dash then the 1.2i sender will work fine

if its the 16v dash you'll need the 16v sender

is that 70 quid from vauxhall?? its a 8v so if i get a 1.2i one itll be rite yeh?

I picked up the transducer from a scrappy for ?10 and the digidash for ?30, just keep an eye on the scrappies to see when a Astra GTE comes in, and get there quick, thats what I done 8)
