i've done 21 days solid at 12 hours. in inverness then the next week was in plymouth.

i did 14 hours yesterday full on with no brakes and nothing to eat, pulled a sicky today, but did go to doctors coz im getting dizzy all time, he said there's nothing he can do but just let it stop by itself, plus went to a party tonight, which was cool!

You are legally entitled to breaks, which can be spent on or off the premises. When and how long for depends on your age. There are exceptions where a continuity of service is required, but that applies more to doctors and etc.

Also, by law you dont have to work more than 45 hours per week, unless you opt to do so.

I take it easy for around 30 hours per week, and i still winge about it! lol
Although that's because mu hours of work are evenings and weekends, so even tho i dont work a lot in hour terms, my jobs makes it very hadr to maintain friendships/relationships. But i get to lie in till up to 3pm EVERY day, if i so wish.

Have done up to 15 hour straight shifts, with no breaks when i was younger though. Wouldnt do it now tho.

Long shifts are crap! or even odd hrs,
E.G. last weekend, started at 5 ish on sunday night, i think i finished at bout 1 ish! then be up at 6.50 for my main job!
I choose to work the extra hrs, basically coz i need the money!
Main job is 40 hrs!
Got a boxing event and a midinight skate coming up in the same weekend! itll be a nitemare! midnight stake ends at 2 i think, then all the lass from the arena gota come out, lay the floor on the ice, pull out the corners, set up the bars, boxing ring e.t.c and then when the boxin has finished put it all back as it was! thatnk god theres no hockey game sunday night!

Worked from 2pm till 3pm (just went to see what needed doing and etc) then from 6pm till 12am today, but got ?100 in tips so wont complain about the job now (till tomorrow lol). Wahey.

I have done 7 18 hour shifts in one week, the job needed the hours done.

Got payed damn well for it mind, wish i hadnt left that job :roll:
