haven't got itnyet but i'm sure i got caught.

last nite i was crusing with a hunny and was chattin and not lookin at the road, doin 40 on a dual carriageway which is a 30 limit for some reason, and didn't realise until i went through that i was speedin!!! DEVO!

how many points and fine will i get for that u think and when will i get it.

if i did get caught then i can wave good bye to my 2.0L XE!!

I got pulled a long time ago for doing 48 in a 30 zone and just got a rollocking.....The only points I have at the moment (3) are because our firm had a free demonstrator Daf truck and the dealer had altered the fueling so it 'went a bit better' it should have had 380hp, it had about 500. I drove it on a route I had done hundreds of times before, and the damned thing accelerated so quick that I got caught doing 46 in a 30.

I got min in January, 49mph in a 30 zone, which is a dual carriageway along Kirkcaldy Prom, actually clocked me at 52mph, but by the time he captured it I'd clocked them and eased off, 3 points an a 30 quid fine cos he screwed up the fixed penalty form.

Doesn't hurt, doesn't make me go any slower, only gonna get a rollicking when I apply for me taxi licence again in january.

At least I know the TD mondeo can shift :D

sorry, haven't signed in for a while so i couldn't reply!

didn't get flashed but the new speed cameras round my way dont have loads of lines on the road like the motorway ones,

they jus have 3 lines across the road bout 10cm apart (30cm in all) and i've been told they dont flash.

they take pics of your number plate and tax!! dunno if any of you got them round your way but theres loads being put up round southampton at the moment.

but the main thing is..... no letter yet and a didn't see a flash.

1, 14 days to get letter which is called NIP (notice of intended prosecution)

2, those cameras dont check tax

3, they have been around for yrs, at least 4 yrs if i can recall

4, from the time u cross the first line to the 3rd it cant tell ur speed and therefore take a pic, it doesnt flash it uses sum other way of taking pic

why doesnt it flash? do u really want to be blinded? lmfao, these are front facing cameras so they can take a pic of u to show who was driving........ allthough this cant be used in court yet as the photos are not good enough to prove it etc etc blah blah

They do flash, but only red. You wouldn't notice it if you were driving.

A motorbike overtook us just before one of them, and saw it flash him (like he gave a fcuk tho, no front no plate!)

the reason they cant take your photo from the front, is cause it's an invasion of your privacy according to the european court of law.
top tip. if your speeding and theres a camera. drive on wrong side of road.
that is unless there a barrier ofcourse.

i got caught doing 96mph only got 3 points an a 60pound fine. I saw a bike down near me that was doing bout 100 past a front facing camera well he isnt gonna get caught so he thought he's do a wheelie.
