Steering lock

me mate has gone an brought a stolen recovered nova he's changed the ignition barrel over but the steering lock doesn't lock has he ballsed puttin it in up or what?
any ideas anyone?

he just asked if i could ask the question what should he have changed? an i'll go back to him with that

Mine got stolen and recoved only changing the barrel wont work because there is a catch inside that is bent if your steering lock is snapped off
